Mario
Mario Schulzke was born in Germany, raised with the help of his great-grandmother, educated by nuns and is in a constant attempt to live an interesting life. He has lived in all across the West Coast and Western Europe. Mario is a senior director of digital strategy at WONGDOODY, and the founder of IdeaMensch – a community of people with ideas.
Mario actually enjoys doing Ironman triathlons, and can’t be trusted to say anything witty at the end of his bio. He is German after all.
Brianne
Brianne Burrowes is the editor-in-chief of CareerSparx. After graduating with a degree in print journalism from The University of Montana she became the youngest ever editor-in-chief of the Montanan, UM’s alumni magazine, at age 22. She also served as an intern in the features and entertainment departments at Seventeen magazine, appeared briefly on an MTV reality show and contributed to more than eight national women’s interest magazines. Her writing has appeared in Seventeen, CosmoGIRL!, Teen People and YM. She also is the founder and curator of I Want Her Job, a site featuring women in all professions of varying ages who have one thing in common – a fierce love for their career.
Kate
Kate Oliver is the managing editor CareerSparx and a digital strategy intern with WDCW-LA. She graduated from the University of Montana in May 2011, with a degree in business administration, and a double major in marketing and international business. She is the black sheep venturing into business in a family full of health fanatics. Katie has been an avid reader since a young age, loves crossword puzzles and is a self-proclaimed grammar freak. When she is not shopping, Katie loves to hike and run, enjoy a good novel and listen to as many interesting podcasts as she can. She also has a crazy love for any animal she meets, often venturing out to the animal shelter to try to improve the days of those little guys.
